PROS:
- it’s practical, manageable and families can eat it together!
- increases cognitive abilities
- potentially reduces onset side effects of Alzheimer’s and dementia
- potentially decreases your risk of heart disease
- since it contains many anti-inflammatory foods (fish, nuts, beans), it decreases your chances of developing chronic pain
CONS:
- it’s not specific/measurable
- could be expensive
TIP:
- find a balance
- set a caloric goal (don’t worry about counting protein/ carbs/ fats)
- if your goal is to lose weight or gain muscle, work with a professional on how much of each item you should be consuming
