Is “Low Fat” Actually Healthier?
For decades, dietary guidelines have advised people to eat a low fat diet to be healthy. However, many studies have proven this way of eating is not the most effective strategy for weight loss and overall health long-term.
Don’t get me wrong, a super low fat diet may help treat serious conditions, like diabetes and heart disease. And it may help you lose weight short-term. Also, low-fat dairy products, like milk and yogurt, often contain higher sugar content.
